Community Funding

Members of the DIIC community have the opportunity to contribute to the overall goal of the community, particularly through community projects.

The "Call for Projects" starts on April 1, 2025.

Call for submission of project outlines

Launch of the funding initiative with a public call for project submissions.

Idea Development

Development and submission of ideas

Interested parties can submit their project sketches with initial concepts.

Selection Process

Evaluation of project sketches

Two-step procedure with review by the management team, an expert jury, and a community voting.

Application Phase

Creation of full applications

Selected project outlines are supported in the application process by specialist areas and the assignment of contact persons.

Application Review

Final review of applications

Examination of applications by the management team and the project sponsor Jülich (PtJ) for funding eligibility.

Project Start

Implementation of approved community-projects

Independent execution of projects with reporting and networking opportunities.

Management Team Responsibilities

Before each call, the management team defines and adjusts the selection process and coordinates the review procedure. Project selection and support take place both within and across disciplines.
